The bearded snot's bazaar (updated 02/18/09)
« on: December 30, 2008, 12:07:29 AM »
Think it could be a good idea to have one post to wrap all my painting subjects. I'll begin with my latest minis.

Starting a 750 pts Khador army for Warmachine :

Grymn Force Project, Fireteam Halla (to be played using 5150 rules):

Necromunda stuff :

Second fireteam for my Grymn army, and a close up of my favored one, as it seems there's always one when you're painting several mini.

Very nice and welcome on board. I echo Dodge's sentiments, the weathered armour looks great.

WOW!!! How do you do the weathering of rust??? I am extremely impressed. If you could give me an idea, I would love to do some rust weathering on a number of items of mine, but have never seen it done to my liking...yours is the best I have ever seen.

Thanks all for the comments.
The armour paintchipping is made with a very dark brown ( mix of red + black) applied with a small piece of blister foam wiped on some towel as for a drybush. Quite simple indeed, just keep it logical and not overdone.

Third installment of my Grymn Force, and so I'm finished with the first squad ! No close-up of my favourite one, Krags, as I have to redo his axe... But a bonus pic with the full squad. Hope you'll like.

I was rather satisfied with this miniature until I saw numerous flaws on the pictures I didn't see before. Maybe my sight is getting poor with age, maybe Helldorado's sculpts are less painter friendly than Hasslefree's, maybe it's it's a mix a both... Aniway without further ado's here she is, in all her lust splendour :

I love the way you've done your Grymn. The extreme close-up of the kneeling grenade-launcher shows just how good your painting is  :o

The chipped and worn body armour gives a great impression of veteran troops - I wish i was brave enough to try it, as my painting skills are basic at best  :(

That's an unusual colour scheme you have chosen, but it works very well indeed!

Please keep posting more of your pics.

Beautiful work, I would have been left speechless except for the above model. When I saw this all I could think was, "What'chu talkin about Willis?" lol
