British reconnaissance motorcycles, and Austin 7 (dismounted test figures 10/09)

These are technically for me .Which translates to I like the concept so I'll ask Simon to cast them and add them to the follies range. As I like the look of the dismounted figures ( for Pulp games). As they're also an important WW2 British piece of reconnaissance kit (pre jeep.)I thought they may interest you chaps.

Me too! A set of civilian riders would be good as well!

Lovely work, I do like them. I feel however that the Thompson SMG should have a drum mag rather than the box mag and they should be wearing normal British helmets rather than the later despatch rider/para helmet. I seem to recall an article in A&N Modelworld IIRC that showed the BEF Recce MC unit in France in 1940. Perhaps you are wanting a more "what if" look to them?

There's civilian riders already done and floating around in a mould.
Poiter.
I'll agree if I'd intended these as BEF then I'd have put them in tin hats. Which is an easy conversion if people wanted me add them.
The trouble with articles is they tend to be over focused .Its not a black and white transition.
Here's a couple of pictures to give a sense of transition.
Also a picture of multiple Thompson variants of which only three use drum magazines.
The first picture is November 39,the next three are May to October 40.Then April 41 through to August 42.

Nice looking models - you mentioned dismounted versions, do you convert these or are you commissioning some?

Nice.
Unfortunately I now have an "a-ha" track playing in my head.

Well, simple solution. Produce all of the variants - "para style", Brit helmet, Glengarry, beret!
But seriously, some variants would be good if you get them in to production.

They look excellent and I will certainly be buying a good number of them.
The normal British steel helmets will cover VBCW and France 1940 as well as Sealion.
