Fallout - 28mm Laser-Cut Signs and Marquees
« on: January 17, 2012, 12:30:27 AM »
Howdy, I recently purchased a number really cool items from Demo's Laser-Cut Designs http://demoslasercutdesigns.blogspot.com/ to include letters, marquees and several buildings.  I managed to finished the signs this weekend so I thought I should share a few pictures.  The signs and marquees below are for several pre-war companies that are part of the Fallout universe.

Here are a few pictures of the final results, with more pictures and a walkthrough of what I did at my blog.  I plan to post more pictures of the buildings as I complete them.  I hope you enjoy.  Cheers.

I second that question!

Their building kits are quite nice too.

Yes.  I purchased the office, factory and set of four shops.  I will post pictures of those too once I get them together.  : )

if you have some time, you may also make your own signs... with CAD you can convert a font to a polyline, and then send it to your favourite lasercutter! ;)

Shipping is reasonable for me (not to rub it in)

I like the factory very much!

I also bought the four shops and the warehouse.  I have the shops done.  Just trying to decide if I want the awnings or not.  The warehouse should be finished tonight.  I'm in the US so shipping was fast and not bad.  They combine on multiple items.  The models themselves are well done and easy to put together.  I'm definitely going to get some more.

How is the office?

Problem isn't just the P&P. If a parcel gets intercepted by customs, there's at least €10 extra and depending on the value that can get way more so placing a large order to cut down on the postage doesn't work either >:(

I come across lots of stuff I'd like to purchase, but when I see it has to come from the States, the euphoria disappears real fast...  :'(

Sorry, postage is so high to your destinations.  I assure you we have the same problems coming the other direction too.
