Disaster On Mars!
« on: March 14, 2013, 11:43:15 PM »
Once again the indigenous population of Mars has wilfully attacked a peaceful convoy without provocation or warning!

A young member of the Imperial Japanese Court was being escorted to an unknown destination with a small column of troops past what was reported to be an abandoned Martian enclave but to her horror and band of Martians came out of nowhere to attack her and the column.

The Martians spy the column crossing their territory...

A view from the column as the Martians expose themselves

The first band jumps down to assault the lead unit

Battle is joined but the Imperial troops seem to fight of the first attack

As the second wave rushes forward the Imperial family member and her samurai bodyguard move off to one side to take the fight to the enemy

The front of the column is decimated and only the impervious suit is left

But disaster falls on the rear of the column as different band of Martians comes in fro the side and pushes back the Japanese

The remaining troops rally round their Royal package as she recovers from fighting off yet another band, loosing her bodyguard in the process

As the impervious suit is taken out the remaining troops rally round the steam tank ready to sell their lives dearly to protect the Imperial princess

Commander Yakitori makes a final stand on the steam tank

The princess and remaining members of the convoy have not been found and no traces of them are to be seen at the site of the battle...

The Japanese govenment want answers...

cheers

Ninjaed by marianas_gamer, I was about to comment on the same matter as well :D I hope the Japanese authorities make the barbarian natives pay highly for such a indecent behaviour... never mind the loss of Princess and troops escorting her.

Must have been great battle, surely there will be a follow-up?

Very, very nice stuff.  :-*

Those silly Imperials marching so close to the Sky Martian village - what did they expect?!?!  :o

Love the samurai bodyguard - how did you incorporate them into the rules?

They are Elite status, aggressive and use big choppers. They were certainly a match for the Martians, but fell due to weight of numbers.

It was a fun game. Its the first time we have played when the convoy never moved from the edge of the table lol
