Phoenix Five
« on: April 19, 2014, 02:13:12 AM »
So it's been a while since I posted up any new stuff. I was saving these guys for an all superhero run at the LPL but  I couldn't make entries fit the special rounds so I didn't bother. Not that any of that matters!

And so I present the Phoenix Five, each imbued with a portion of the Phoenix force when it was accidentally split by Iron Man (oh Tony...) the five went on to become one and if you want to know how that turned out read AvX.

Anyway, the characters.

Magik, Illyana Rasputin.

Scratch built from a Hasslefree dolly.

Colossus, Piotr Rasputin.

Started as Clix standard uniform Colossus.

Namor.

Clix standard uniform Namor

Emma Frost

Started as DC Clix Mera

Cyclops, Scott Summers.

Started as DC Clix Superboy and a real dog to photograph...

And the whole crew together:

These guys are not going to be easy to do for supersystem I can tell you but if we ever get around the that AvX campaign we've been talking about I'm ready!

Do each one as 1.5 to 2 times the BP of a normal character, then your opponent can field more Avengers.

Excellent work there. :)

AvX was not my favourite 'event' story line, but very well realised minis! :)

Awesome job as always. These would be great to face across the table. I dont like the waist ono Namor though. Looks too much like a twist and not a bend. But i still love the fighting five. Wicked. Love to see more.

Yeah I know,it's a bit of an odd figure, one of the early ones but the pose is unchanged. Thought about straightening him up but couldn't be bothered. :)

based on this one

Think I'd have prefered this one but I had the other lying around.

Prefer them both over the official mini (which was going on eBay for about £40)
