The first 3 packs from the French Foreign Legion range, are finished and being cast, they should be available from mid February 2007.
FFL-1 Skirmish (I)

FFL-2 Skirmish (II)
FFL-4 Command
(http://www.unfeasibly.co.uk/images/photo_045.jpg)
The base figures for pack 3 (Marching & Guard) are completed and masters will be cast of these before head swaps take place - to provide some individuality.
FFL-3 Marching & Guard (left large to allow you to appreciate the detail)
(http://www.unfeasibly.co.uk/images/photo_046.jpg)Future releases will include;
French Foreign Legion figures in barrack dress, two packs, the former with rifles and the latter in hand to hand combat.
Tuareg Arabs, this is initially 3 packs however the range will be larger, who will be armed with sword, jezzail and rifle- a Remington Rolling-block as the rifle as there were a lot floating around North Africa.
Character figures - in keeping with the historical contect, however will add that Hollywood / Pulp feel - watch this space.

great, love to see some new nice french legion figs!
and welcome aboard :)

Great miniatures.
And you go for the 1900-1920 period, makes them more suitable in a pulp scenario.
I realy like the beard and mustache faces on FFL-1. Looks like they have more personality? or something? :freak:

Yes I like these figures .
what abaut the size are they compatible with Copplestone or Foundry ?

Hello,
exactly what Iam looking for. I have the Fort, I have all the stuff, but no suitable miniatures. These look very good.

Thanks! There is a distinct lack of well-sculpted FFL in Beau Geste uniforms out there and these fit the bill!
Driscoles - I didn't know you have a fort!
-
Oh these are good. I've dropped you a mail at your site, please make everything I've asked for ASAP
-
I forgot bayonets. There must be some charging with bayonets. This was the traditional end to a FFL engagement.
ok, I think that's it for the moment.........

@Dominic : Yes I have the Fort Zinderneuf ordered from Old Glory. Lies in my basement for years now. I also have some FFL figs. 20 Painted so far. They are not the frosting on the cake. So this figs here in the post look very nice.
Iam thinking to do a Participation Game with the Legion against Arabs either on my Do or Dice convention or on the Tactica in Hamburg next year.

Dark blue, black and white. They look much the same today as in yesteryear except they've switched camels and jezzails for GPS, dirt bikes and assault rifles.

These figures are excellent! I'm very fond of this period and as you maybe aware there was a female legionaire that fought in the FFL. The only problem is I should have bought the book when I'd the chance.
Well done to Richard Ansell for the excellent designs. He seems are very busy designer at the moment working for a few well known companies.

"Self-propelled-gun Girl"? That IS pretty cool, indeed! Although you´ll admit that "Tank Girl" has a somewhat snappier sound to it! ;)
