Title: What The Butler Recruited
Post by: Friends of General Haig on December 16, 2021, 09:16:31 PM
Just completed a unit of dismounted dragoons for my Polish 1620s army. They are 28mm figures from Bloody Miniatures.  These will represent  James Butler’s Dragoons and I have gone for a non-uniform, rag-tag look.  More pictures, with some background, on my blog here: https://theviaregia.blogspot.com/2021/12/what-butler-recruited.html

The figures were an absolute joy to paint. 👍

As mentioned on Fb - great job, Andy. Clever conversions and great colouring in.
You’ve given them another layer of added character  8)

A fine looking crew of rapscallions.  I particularly like the nonuniformed uniform look.
