Mason, maybe tarpaper and batons for the flat roofs? I'm no scratchbuilder but shouldn't be too hard to do, especially after your other builds

I read this earlier when you posted, and did just that.
That did the trick, a few batons to break up the 'flatness'.
Cheers, Cholly!

For the flat roof - a wee bit of an assignation spot can be indicated by a bit of paper towel soaked in glue and painted to look like a well used blanket.  Also, a few bits of wood lying about, perhaps there was a leak during the last rain and the repairs aren't entirely complete.  That combination can "liven" up the roof.

This ^^^
I am going to use later.
It is brilliant.

Thank you sir!

Some pictures of the 'Terrace' before detailing and signs etc...

All three properties in the Terrace.
Any ideas of what they may be.....?

The Blue/grey shopfront....?

The Pink shopfront......?

The Green shopfront.....?

A wander around to the rear.....

As you already know, you can always rely on Brian's Mum to have a good nose about.... ;)

Details and signs to be added soon and pictorial evidence provided.

Until then, I hope they pass muster...

Thanks, mate.
A small Chinatown district of Upsheet Creek is in the pipeline for the new year.

Looking good :-* :-* :-*

Cheers, Colin.

 lol
I am sure that I have no idea what you mean.... ::)
I am resisting the urge for a rug shop......for now.
I DO have something planned for later that could drift in that direction a little, though.
 ;)

 lol
Close.....just not this time, mate.

I do like the idea of a Land Agent.
That has just been put on 'the list' of future buildings, though..

The 'Pink' house will be something slightly different......

It is quite funny how we are all thinking along the same lines though, chaps, isn't it?

Mamma's Cake Shop - 'Frosting specialists and Party catering.'

Thank you, Riccardo!

It may well be dark, a little too dark, you do have a good point.
.
I will have to consider some windows for the rear...just small ones, mind you.
 ;)

Glad you had a giggle mamma. lol ;)

Mama is always a good sport.
 :D

I will get on to those signs as soon as I can, I have just been a little distracted by something else lately....

The buildings look TERRIFIC! You could leave off the shops signs have a rare Western Gypsy settlement...vacant stores being their natural habitat.

Gipsies where I come from aint so fussy.
But the less said the better, to be honest.

Hopefully, fingers, toes and everything else crossed, I should get some time to finish the signs tomorrow.
I also got some stuff in the post today to 'dress up' the Hardware Store.
Pictures shall be forthcoming if I do.
