Slightly different -
I'm working on a little game system at the moment, part of which is based on the fantasy writings of William Morris (he of wallpaper and socialism fame) as a result I'm doing lots of little character illustrations in a arts and crafts/early art nouveau style.
I was inspired by mark copplestones little soldiers to try and give a more stylised sculpt a go, so i made this 54mm knight in which i tried to copy my own style of drawing. Initially I engraved patterns into the putty but I found it was visually messy so I buffed it back to the flat. As an experiment it's got some way to go, I think the style needs work before I'd call myself happy with it, but I like the 54mm scale for a sort of period turn of the century fantasy figure, and I think there's potential in it.
I'll probably just keep this one for myself.

Had a quiet day at work so I bashed out this fishman miniature - I may do a few more of them since he was a fun sculpt.
I was originally just trying to do a really quick sculpt to put inside the gumball machine I just bought for shows, but I got distracted by using a paintbrush and dissolved putty to make veins and spikes.

Both very nice!

The more stylized knight is quite cool, so is the fishmen. What ratio do you use for the dissolved putty?

If you do sculpt some more of those fishmen (and armoured goblins), I will be obliged to put in another order!

They're looking exceptional again; you really do have a distinct sculpting style, and I like a lot...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
Find a Way, or make one!
