The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.

Yeah, the secondary objectives just sound like icing on a great cake.  Beyond just having and running 6 posses, the secondary objectives must have really added a level of excitement to all the activity.  Just excellent.

SO Cool! What a great-looking table, and all of the models were painted to such a high standard.

Excellent report and beautiful terrain, figures and scenario. Nice mix of figure companies represented on the tabletop, too. What was the size/points value of the gangs represented? Some gangs seem larger than others but that might just be innocent civilians and townsfolk getting in the way...  :)

The points value of the posses were each right around 200 points, some a bit more, some a bit less.  Most consisted of 8 models per posse, but the Citizens Vigilance Committee ended up with 10 models due to most committe members being less than skilled volunteers.
So many games, so little time.

For such a relatively small table, there is a lot of real estate there. All beautifully painted and I couldn't tell which were scratch-built or commercial models. The figures are to an equally high standard. Just what a good participation game should look like.

That's definitely one I'd like to have played in!  :D

Great looking table and figures. Looked like everyone was having fun.  I never get around to painting my casualty figures but from your pictures I can see how they really add interest to the visual look of the game.

I echo all the other praise! I was wondering if you modified the door hinges on the cowtown hotel? Also whose makes the stable and various fenses used?

Is that con run more than once a year? I have a friend that lives in Minneapolis. I may just come for a visit on a con weekend.

Thanks!

Great looking game. Scenery is fabulous and so are the figures. Love the rules. They make gaming fun again. Keep up the great work. :)
