ZombieSmith just released some new aliens: http://www.zombiesmith.com/products/a7d12-january-travelers (http://www.zombiesmith.com/products/a7d12-january-travelers)

A really nice varied bunch, here’s hoping for more of them. On the downside though this means I’ll have to choose between an Alien Legion project and all the other stuff I have lying around…
-
They look nice. I watched Men in Black last night in an effort to jazz up my enthisiasm to paint my suits up. These guys perfectly suit that setting. They also have a nice space opera look to them I think, the sort of look that DS9 would have loved to have had the budget to get.
I will add them to my very long list of future acquisitions I think.
-
I will get them soon, very cool. I just started a Sarigar figure for Alien leigon tonight on a whim, I did not think many people had ever heard of Alien legion and now I hear a movie might come out soon, that would be great.
-
Oh, if only they had an European Distributor or something!
Those are more than just perfect for my current project!
-
Well done Zombiesmith!
These are just what every self-respecting alien Cantina shoud have as customers. Loads of uses in 5150 and similar games. I'll have to seriously think about buying these :D
-
Aren't they lovely? :-*
I resisted successfully to engage the Quar, but these SF travellers will definitely join my collection!
;D
-
They look like real nice figures.
-
They do look great. I like the variety very much.
-
They are just perfect.... almost too perfect for the setting I have in mind.
EDIT: couldn't resist so just ordered them, taking advantage of the high kroner.
-

An Alien Legion movie would be great but they've been talking about it for years so i'm not putting my hopes up yet.
But at least these will keep me busy.
-
Maybe Im just being ridiculous, but when is "zombie" smith going to return to their namesake? ???
-
Check their horror section, there are loads've zombies! Quite nice looking too...
-
I ordered them. I eagerly await their arrival.
-
These would be great for my spaceport project.

Its a fair question that I get asked a lot! (I do like to point out that Wizards of the Coast doesn't just make wizards...) ;D
Anyhow, our first generation of zombies really came out when there were almost none on the market and I wanted some modern, non-weapon carrying zeds to game with. Now, everyone makes zombies left right and center! I never thought I would ever do anything but zombies, but they sold really well, gave me the bug to grow the company and because I am a little scattered in my gaming interests, the opportunity to explore some other things that there aren't much of on the market.
I have some good ideas for zombies that aren't out there yet but I keep getting distracted by shiny!

Half my orders are from Europe and the UK.

So Headzombie a little question is there a chance that there'll come more aliens in the future? I love their style and 'Space-operaness', and I can't think of any other similar models apart from maybe Darkson's AE Bounty which hasn't arrived yet.
-
Absolutely. Probably the next ones not until the summer though.
-
Please keep previews coming!
-
Oh, beautiful. They certainly look awesome. Definitely something to add to my infinitely-growing 'wants list.'
-
I've been on the look out for some non-setting-specific aliens to populate a Rogue Trader frontier world space port for a while, and its surprising how few are out there (Black Scorpion's aliens are the only ones I've really found that I liked, and there's a few upcoming from Reaper by the looks of it) so these will be most excellent :)
-
Well mine have just arrived this morning, and very nice they are too! I'll try and get some pictures together of the unpreped casts and possibily some comparison shots.
Duncan
EDIT: now got some photos together -

I chose a marine as well, pretty much everyone knows what they look like and how big they are, as you can see they're nice casts and scale well.
-
Oh--I like those. I'll have to pick some up when I get through my back log. I really like that they aren't all armed to the teeth (or whatever aliens have) with gigantic guns. Nice to see some alien civilian and support figures.
-
Mine arrived on 2/1 as well. Lovely minis. They'll be waiting for me when I finish my Tyranid army.
-
Thanks for the pic Dijit! They look good next to the GW Marine, so I reckon they will be perfect next to my usual Copplestone, Heresy, Hasslefree etc. After all, how big is an alien?
Did you order from the US and if so what was the shipping cost like? Denmark's not too far from England, after all ;)
-
Yeah i ordered from the US, and shipping was 10 dollars, so not bad at all.
They also match very nicely against my EM4 and Urban War minis

Great news! EM4 and Copplestone are virtually identical in size (well, they would be ::) ) so that's good news. Thanks for the reply :D

We need a Stitch.
-
I would like to see a Puppeteer and K'zinti from Larry Nivens "Ringworld"
-
We need a Stitch.
huh?
-
huh?
I think that n815e means Stitch from Lilo and Stitch (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275847/). I think that the mostly cuddly Stitch was actually a genetically engineered killing machine or bio-weapon or similar (I didnt ever see the movie, just trailers).
-
ahah! Ok now I follow what you mean.

Yes indeedy! My favourite Niven stories involve the K'zinti. How can you not love giant SciFi cats? :D
-
yes it's a pity Khursan don't make their stuff in a proper scale in stead of 15mm!
-
You have these

Yes, that really adorable, terribly misunderstood, destroyer of worlds - Experiment 626 aka Stitch. Or some likeness thereof. This gang of aliens would fit well in that setting. Maybe it was the Hawaiian shirt that made me think of this.

I have seen these bit from what I have been told these are quite tiny/normally proportioned so to small against regular sci fi miniatures.
-
Placed an order for a few of these the other day. I'm hoping to use them alongside Darkson's line for AE Bounty, but I'd like some more 'Star Wars-y' humans – I don't suppose anyone knows how the size up alongside Infinity figures?
-
Any Infinity figures in particular? I have most of the yu-jing and a bunch of morats.
-
Human ones, for preference, but Morats would be just as good, I think. While I don't mind aliens being bigger or broader than humans, I'd rather they weren't ALL bigger and broader!

Never seen those before. Very nice indeed! I love the segmented tail armour lol
It doesn't bother me if they are smaller or "slighter" than other 28mm figures- they are cats, not humans after all. What's the correct size for an alien? ;)
Will definitely put thse on the "wants" list. Thanks for the URL :D
-
I will take some infinity meets random ZS alien pictures in the next few days.

Sounds great!
-
Are they available in the UK and if so can you give us a URL or two?
Thanks :D
-
I ordered direct from zombiesmith in the US, the postage wasn't too bad at all here to Denmark and the delivery was pretty quick.

Thanks, will bear that in mind. I was hoping to pick some up from one of the UK shows, though. If that's not an option I'll put a few small, import-tax-beating orders in :D
