Ok have that hanger bay scaled up to 28mm, then washed and sent to my gaming chamber.  ;)

I am not doing another starwars scale! I already have 6mm,, 15mm, 25mm,  28mm. No no, not ever... no way.

How much?  :D

A superstar destroyer would be 19 meters long and even I'm not that mad!

I have a friend who made one 3 metres long.
It was a bit like a surfboard.
Made the engines out of Pringles tubes.

Bugger to game with - we used a FT variant and guns on the stern couldn't hit the bow.....

Very nicely done. I think the Japanese model fits in very well.

You are a talented bugger James.  :)

The hangar would be stunning at 28mm scale.  That it's only 2 INCHES WIDE just beggars belief...  :o

My gawd - thanks for pointing that out. You're crazy, man. You is crazy. What else is in the pipeline for terrain for this project?

Thanks for the replies chaps  :)

The Falcon is a possibility but it'll take a bit to make properly as there isn't really anything suitable at this scale so it'll have to be scratch built and as to other terrain, no idea yet  :)

Made a medium freighter this morning and got some paint on it. Just a simple scratch build with a few bits and peices I had lying around.

Painted in the same way as the hanger ie, sprayed grey, washed and then slowly brought up with

It's about 76mm long (76 metres in 'real' terms).

Made a sort of start on the space station but it'll need some serious thinking and work doing to it before it resembles what I have in mind  :?

(With Jim's permission) and expanding on his concept, I've been tinkering with some scraps and come up with some of the following:

Basic TIE/ln fighter (front view)

Basic TIE/ln (profile view)

With some very rough paint on

And a heavy cousin

And now a family shot

With close-up

Now they've got to have something to chase/defend

And a base to operate from (can you guess what it is yet?)

Who knew that the smaller something is, the harder it is?  o_o

More family shots as they happen and special thanks to the wifey who can actually operate a camera for this four thumbed luddite.

Nice work. The base looks like a Nebulon-B frigate (ie medical frigate)?
