Title: Martian Empires Prussian Tanks Released
Post by: black hat miniatures on October 21, 2011, 12:50:27 PM

Hi,

I now have images of the Prussian Tanks for our 18mm VSF Martian Empires range up on the website.

The heavy Tank EMPV11:

The light Tank

The light tank comes with a gatling and 1 funnel.

The heavy tank comes with two funnels, two long guns and two short guns.

This means you can either put a long and short gun each side or just one gun a side to vary the look.  The picture shown is a very rough quick photo without the master castings of the guns cleaned up.

Let me know what you think.  They are now also available in the Black Hat Shop but I still need to make the production mould for the metal parts so they will only be sent from the end of next week.

Many thanks

Mike

Oh, I like them a lot. Very much like I imagine Victorian tanks would actually look. A few more rivets wouldn't go amiss, though!   lol

Now, do them in 28mm so I can use some.  ::)

Nice work Mike.  I echo the 28mm sentiment!   :D

Looks nice but it does remind me a bit of WWII German design. Especially the Goliath (enigeer explosive thingy).

They do look good, but perhaps a little short on rivits. Dont suppose you could pop up a photo of one next to a 28mm fig to see if they might have some mileage in 'the' scale?

Very nice Mike, now I see why you were excited about them.

Hi

The big tank is 50mm across by 70mm long

The small tank is 35mm across by 55mm long

All measurements to the extremities.

Very quick pictures of a comparison with a Foundry 25mm FPW officer and a Martian Empires 18mm Prussian soldier below:

And no, we don't and won't be doing ANY Martian Empires in 25mm - plenty of other people do that... :-)

thanks

Mike
