Thanks Soapy, that Hasslefree one really captures the look of Jedda from Defenders of the Earth, just a bit more grown up.

You've made a heap of progress since I last looked at this thread! Nice work :)

I love the Nightslip figure from Reaper, was thinking of using her for something in our Supercity game (if we ever get around to it!) ... what are you going to use her for?

I don't think I'll be getting Nighslip Princess, unless I can think of a use for her.

Fair enough. I guess she's always there if you need her eventually! :)

A little over a year from now (at Little Wars 2015) I'll be running the biggest Supers game I've ever done, culminating this project for the most part. The aim is to have a 8' by 6' table with a wide variety of teams to battle it out in the Ultimate Ultimate Alliance game.

The idea will be that players can pick a team of heroes or villains and attempt a mission (or just punch it out if they're lacking in imagination). As usual for this project, teams will be made up of four members (henchmen groups counting as 1 member), except for Galactus, who needs no help.

I'm trying to come up with teams that will provide a good variety to chose from, as well as being iconic and recognisable. Some teams and their members are pretty obvious:

Fantastic Four:
Mister Fantastic
Invisible Woman
The Thing
The Human Torch

Others less so, which X-men do I take for example? Given that I'd like variety, I'd rather not have to have X-Men, X-Factor, Excalibur, Generation X, X-Force, X-Statics, The New Mutants, and so on. Plus little things like I'd prefer to have Batman with a team of his sidekicks (Team Bat) rather than in the JLA and I'm thinking of doing some fun things like a Vigilante team of Punisher, Hit-Girl, Big Daddy and someone else.

So the question I pose to you LAFers is, where you to be able to play this game, what would you like to see? What teams and what heroes in the team?

Some Teams that I'm looking at already:

Avengers, SHIELD, JLA, Annihilators, Sinister Six, Team Bat

Another possible from Hasselfree....I think during their next sale I will get her.

This one would make an awesome Raven (Teen Titans)

Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

I'm sure it's pure coincidence, as is the fact that Hasslefree call her "Lenore".

Edgar Allan who?
Back from the dead, almost.

Are you looking for more of a  hero vs villain or do you want some grey teams also?

If g vs v:
Avengers
X-Men
Justice League
Mixed Team - Transfomers, Indie, solo acts
Teen Titans

Legion of Doom
Mixed Team
Brotherhood of Mutants
Masters of Evil
Secret Society of Super Villains

Really to me DC does not have great teams like Marvel does....the teams I like are often the second rate ones like Infinity Inc and Suicide Squad.

If you wanted some Grey teams....

Add in Suicide Squad perhaps
Not sure who on the Marvel side would work.

You totally missed Secret Six. There are different lineups you could go with too.
