Well, we have actual data-crunchy type people working on previous surveys right now, and once this edition is done, we'll let them loose on it. Expect more proper reporting!

I did my bit as well.

It does produce some severe anxiety to guestimate how much I spend in a year.

That's why we ask now how much you plan to spend, not how much you went over budget in the last year.  ;)

If you copy-paste the voucher code, make sure you don't accidentally copy an extra space. It's very easy to do, but would count as an extra character, making it invalid.

Maybe next year we'll have to ask "Did you follow through on your spending plan?"  lol

I'll ask our data analysts if that's an option. We have asked pretty consistently about planned expenses, so there's something to be said about that. As to focus on a number of projects, that might be harder.

I suspect there are quite a few distinctive hobby demographics. I know quite a few people who were wargaming butterflies, who now pretty much limit themselves to 1 or 2 projects, others who will jump on any kickstarter, and those who are somewhere in between.

For me, I have a longer term favoured period and rule-set I rarely get to play, a bunch of peripheral things for which I have bits and pieces, some done, and some I may never paint/use, and a couple of sets/periods that I like, and can play at the club.

I've seen some of the classifications they've made for 2018 and there are some interesting things to be said. We may all be very different with widely different preferences, but that still boils down to somewhat distinct groups.

I think the line between wargaming and tabletop gaming has been very much watered down to near non existence now.

I find that a lot of tabletop stuff is cycled quickly and onto the next game/release/ks and this is what some wargames companies have latched on to.

So stuff like Zombicide is a good example perhaps.
