Impetus campaign? Tell us more, please.
The figures look quite dark & mean, love that.
-
Looking very nice good! And nicely photographed.
-
Excellent work on excellent figures! I have wanted to get those for a while!
-
Very nice!! I love that miniatures!!
-
Lots of dash and movement in there 8)
-
Awesome figures and photos.
-
Very nice. You went for a much darker uniform appearance than the box art from WG. I like the way that looks.
Reminds me I have box of those for my Dacian force I never did get started on.
-
Cheers chaps! 12 units to go,perhaps some foot as well; the eventual army will be about 300 points.

Thanks Doc :) Yeah I'm running a campaign using book 2 of the Impetus lists, the campaign is unoriginally called Dux Europa; so far I've have about 4 Romans (West/East),2 Germanics,a Sassinid and another Sarmatian. It starts early September so I have a bit of work ahead of me ;)
-
Looking great, really like the movement in the base. :-* The campaign sounds extremely interesting, keep us up to date!
-
Very nice, Mr Wolf.

Trying to paint these quickly (it shows),otherwise at my painting rate the 13 units will never get done...... ;)

These look even better than the first lot
What are the like for size? Are they on the smaller end of 28mm, like the Warlord Romans?
Cheers, Simon

Stunning!
:o
The sense of movement is wonderful, you have captured this scene perfectly.
:-*
-
Brilliant! Sometimes I think Warlord do themselves a disservice with the paint jobs on their site. These look great!
-
More excellence! Great project so far!!
-
Cheers chaps! I am enjoying painting these,in particular the banner bearer; hope I can keep it up. They make a nice change from my usual, rather slow painting....

Not sure, they seem in scale with my Conquest Normans, though the horses are (as they were historically) smaller.

Absolutely agree with this - I didn't like the Warlord Sarmatians at all when I saw them on their website - but these look great! I didn't even realise they were they same figures at first... :o
-
An excellent show here for sure! You project is inspiring!

Yes they do mate, and I have to say the sculpting on the figures faces is some of the best I've seen.
