A murder in the musieum!! There is some seriously lax security in that their musieum, I heartily disapprove  ;D

My lady asked for a dio for Christmas after I showed it to her just now.

Abso-effing-lutely smashing. That is a wondrous work of art, Mason. Easily among the top tchotchke items I have ever seen in my life.

Love the brushwork on that elly.

Where did you get the painting on the wall?

At least it is dry in THAT museum!

Dont go blaming me, mate.
Just get your thinking cap on, at least you have a whole year to make yours!

Thanks, you Crazy Viking!
As for all the posts: I have a job that involves sitting at a desk where it can be damn quiet for long periods of time, and the LAF is the only thing that keeps me sane...mostly.

It is a good thing that I am into modelling and not hunting then, I suppose....

The painting is the same as a print that my Missus bought at an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London, that she had framed and is now hanging on the wall above the sofa in our living room.
It was the promotional print for the exhibition on Indian Portraits that was held at the time, hence it was easy to find on their website.
I just shrunk it and made a frame out of plastic sprue and green stuff to size.
Voila!

Brilliant.

It has been left open ato interpretation, as the original Suspect that I converted and painted (to sit on the elephant) was rejected as it did not quite look right when put in place. It seemed to upset the 'balance' of the scene.
A better explaination (and the rejected mini) is in the Workbench section, here:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=48785.0

Hope that explains everything.

It has been a while since I have posted anything SA related.
I have not been completely idle, just stuck at work for the last couple of weeks.

I do have a little time off now, so I can get a bit more finished off before I lose my time to zombies, LOTS of zombies!

Whilst I have not done any painting lately, I have been messing around with the Green Stuff, as I am attempting a bit more sculpting.

I wont say too much about these yet, as I am not sure if it is going to work.
I have even more respect for sculptors now, as attempting to sculpt in this scale is not easy.

I have not gotten too far yet, but here are a couple of pics to prove that I have been doing something...

I will post some more when they are more nearly done.

Happy New Year, everyone!

The Green Stuff Folk are LOOKING GOOD! The overalls bring to mind Hill Billies...Hill Billy Zombies are The Most dangerous type: re, it's almost impossible to tell the Undead ones from the Living until it's too late. Have FUN with the sculpting...it's addictive you know.

I am conscious of the stupid pose that they are in the whole time I am working on them, and thought that it may get a mention...
I picked up the armatures on ebay.
Someone was selling a whole bunch of them (46!), so that should keep me busy for a while.
I think they were originally made by Jeff Valent.

As for the addictiveness: I know!

Thanks, styx!
I had lost the urge to do any painting or modelling since, but I have since managed to play a few games as the 'Good Guys' and now feel the need to make a whole new team up to represent them- The Men in Bowlers, the London Division of M.O.O.S.(E).

They have managed three wins out three in their first outing, a trip to Kew Gardens to put a stop to the nefarious scheming of the Evil Professor Titchy-Marsh and his allies the Cult of Morris!

Here is a pic stolen from smokezombie showing the evil Morris Men hiding behind a huge stone in the Aztec Garden, waiting to ambush the Heroic Agents of the Crown.

Needless to say, their foul plot was soon overturned and it was 'business as usual' in the Gardens the next day...

Now I had better get to work with the green stuff and paint, and put together a proper team of City Agents.
 :D

Needless to say, their foul plot was soon overturned and it was 'Guinness as usual' in the Gardens the next day...

Fixed that for you. I'm going to have to fly out one of these days and have a pint or six with you and play. Seeing that stout is making me SO thirsty...doc gave me meds for vertigo I have to take daily, no booze, and I've been drier than a desert wind for a year or so now. UGH
