Hurrah!
What sort of size are the figures Ged? A lot of the Gringo 28mm's I've had in the past are on the beefy end of the spectrum

Brilliant, the figures pictured on the website look fantastic.
Will you be making opponents for the Apaches and Comanches? Will the Soldado de Cuera's be making an appearance?

Does Gringo 40s have a vendor in the U.S.?
(If so, I'm in real trouble!)
and... Comanches, arguably, versus Mongols, the finest light horse warriors to hit the battlefield.

some notes of possible interest ref the Early Apache Spears. :D 8) :D 8)
The shaft of Native American spears were usually made with a wooden stick while the head of the spear was an arrowhead, piece of metal such as copper, or a bone that had been sharpened.  Spears were a preferred weapon by many for many reasons.  A spear was inexpensive to make.  It was also an easy weapon to use.  There was less training required to teach someone to use the spear than other weapons.  They could be made quickly in mass quantities.  And when used, they were often a lethal weapon.

what rules would work for this early period of Indian warfare?

You’re right they’re re the predecesors of the Presidial lancers. The low crown flat brimmed black hat is a traditional Spanish riding hat.

Very nice indeed. In the later 1700's to early 1800's the Spanish had unit of Hussars fighting the Comanche. They were equipped with an oval shield (painted in the royal coat of arms. I'm just curious as to weather or not these would on your radar?  ???
