From an artist's point of view, the work is magnificent!
But from the point of view of historical accuracy, there are very serious errors  :'(

Cheers all  8)

Second half is underway. Thought, even though it might not be historically accurate, that I'll do one with African flesh to represent, as it's party season, a Black Russian.

Although a black soldier is very rare in Russia, such facts are known. Including in the Red Army during the Civil War. I have information about two such soldiers - foreigners who worked in Russia before the revolution (both as circus performers), and later volunteered for the Red Army.
Also in the Caucasus in Abkhazia lived blacks, whose ancestors were bought and brought by the Abkhaz prince Simon Abashidze in the first half of the 19th century. They all received freedom, married local girls and laid the foundation for the “black Abkhazians” - Russian subjects. Naturally, during the Civil War, they served in the army.

But the fact that you gave your soldiers during the Civil War the banner that was hoisted on the Reistag in 1945 looks extremely funny   ;)

By the way, as a curious thing. If you paint black Wehrmacht soldiers on the Eastern Front, that won't be a mistake either. In 1942, “Corps F”, which, among others, included black soldiers, was defeated in the steppes near Rostov.
