Sci-Fi stuff from BOYL at the weekend
« on: August 03, 2015, 08:24:54 PM »
I'm sure most of you will be aware that the third Oldhammer weekend happened over the weekend at Foundry head quarters.
I thought you might like to see some pics.

I'm just working through writing up reports of the games I was involved in on my blog so I've yet to get to the Big DEATHRACE game from sunday but I'lll come back and show off more pics when I'm done. Cheers.

Fantastic stuff!

Always wanted to play that game. Got more than enough Alpha complex types, but still need to pick up the early RT greenies.

Well mate, it would appear that I'm just up the road from you and I have a shit load of greenies that I need a reason to paint. (and the vulture warriors scenery is mine!)

Who owns/converted the TiMmee armored car?

Looks like a load of fun. The whole event looked like a load if fun. I been loving the pics from the different sources. Great imaginations all around.

From Cheetors thread on same: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=30004.0 page 13,

That is the "Graveyard Express", driven by Dave Grigger and owned by LAF'er James Holloway.  He did a great job on it.

PLEASE tell me you heard the groan all the way 'over there...'

That was me, as folks said. It's actually the second one I've done. The first one got turned into a transport for my Reaper Bones marine-types.

The Tombstone Express is a little bit more of a conversion -- the old one just had a Robogear autocannon stuck on it, while the Deathrace version had its turret replaced with a Razorback turret. I also gave it a new set of wheels from Zinge Industries and lowered it a bit so it wasn't quite so high off the ground.
