While it's not set in the same world as Frostgrave, it uses some of the same mechanics. Of course, the big difference is that it is solo / cooperative...

Interesting. Looking forward to reading and playing it.

There is some new artwork, the cover of the book, posted on the game developer´s blog. It looks excellent!
-
will it be released on kindle?
-
A cooperative game melting Lone Wolf-ish vibes with the first parts of the Lord of the Rings, with D&D-ish customization, a setting reminiscent of some of my favourite old console RPGs, and cover art reminding me of a novel?
I approve!

Is there any way for one player to take a "dungeon master" style role against the cooperative players?
-
There is no DM built into the game, but it wouldn't be hard to add one.
-
Just started in on the rules last night and noticed a tiny typo on page 37. "Acrobatics Sill" Looks good so far other than that horrifying error. ;)

I have a question about treasure distribution in coop games: is it finders keepers or share the loot? We take turns in receiving treasure no matter who picked it up. When one of us gets the gold and jewels result, only that player gets the xp.
-
Share experience. Treasure goes to the figure that claimed it, unless they wish to share.
-
So that means we both get 10 xp each when one gold and jewels result is rolled on the treasure table? Or if we choose the 1 progression point to a companion instead, does only one companion get it or one companion each?
