It's time to introduce my Ostland warband.
As a base I used LOTRs figures that in a fairly large number were lying.
In addition, I used bits from different sources.
Because in my case I do not have any painting skills, I only converts all miniatures
Miniatures painted by Skavenblight from hakostwo.blogspot.com

For a start: Jeagers

Rohan as a base

additional some bits from Bretonnia

And now some famous double-barrelled rifle and pistols. Too expensive to use but they look really well  ;)

and final look

And finally, something that inspired me from the book "Warhammer Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire"

So I decided to do a similar banner for my jeagers
Balsa wood, purity seals and other stuff

And finally

And now the best - painting  ;)

And all together

Next post - Kin ;)

Great job on the conversions, and I love the strongly highlighted paintjob (I can still congratulate the painter!).  Excellent warband!

Great idea, and well executed.  The only (and I stress...only) thing that doesn't really work for me is the gigantic barrels on the guns.  Other than that a beautifully executed conversion.  And even with the barrel sizes, I still think the end result is fantastic.  Thanks for sharing!

When I saw you were mixing Lotr and GW figures, I thought it would never work, the heads would be far too big. Proved wrong of course. Very nice indeed.

Your imaginative conversions certainly painted up BEAUTIFULLY...a very Mordheim worthy Band of Rogues. GREAT WORK!

Thank you for all the kind words. :)
As for the barrels in rifles - for an early also thought that are a little too big ...... but finally it warhamer ;).

Now it's time for Kin.
Rohan and Gondor ;)

and painted by Skavenblight

Of course, in Mordheim is no such thing as a standard bearer and musician ....... but in a system similar to Mordheim (Warheim) is such a function.
So I decided to create units.

and painted

and all together
