The Reaper mind flayer is a nice miniature, but that staff top is GREAT.  From the GW plastic wizard boxed set? I might have to pick that up.  Thanks for posting the picture!

There's also a proper Davey Jones-esque miniature available with a shark/human pirate and crab/human pirate from a small german company but can't remember their name, have it bookmarked (TiN I think).
