West Wind released two packs of 4 ww2 german zombies too (I seem to be mentionning this company a lot on these forums... :? ),using their separate head system. At first I was sceptical upon receiving them, but once assembled they seemed to come to (un)life and now that  I've got the first 5 90% done, they're rapidly becoming my favourite nazi zombie figures so far.

They are finished and I've started on the rest. Still no pictures, but if you're interested in the subject, I can highly recommend them (but you really need to put on the heads to judge them accurately). 8)

(and I am in no way affiliated with West Wind, in fact, I strongly dislike most of their older stuff)

Could they be used for modern zombies or are they very WW2

They are wearing ww2 german uniforms. While this might be hidden on some by painting them different colours and/or filing off some uniform details, it is just too obvious on some of the others (wearing the iron cross and all).

They do sell the heads separately, which might in themselves be worth getting for conversions, and those don't have any period specific detail.

Hard  to tell. I haven't got any of the Gothic horror ones and the pictures on the site are too small.

I think they migt be by a different sculptor though. There's no trace of the overlong limbs and over the top poses you see in regular WW lines.

Okay,I've managed to take some not very clear pictures which should at least give you a general idea:

The West Wind thug (minor conversion by adding a tie) and the 8 zombies:

For some other pictures and comparison shots with the ERM and Brigade Games zombies, see here:

Hope it helps...

thanks for the pic!  They do look pretty good.  Those heads will come in useful for conversions!

And you have got some really cool stuff!  Nice conversions too!  You must get the pulp figures she-wolves though!

I have them. One is even being painted as we speak (well... almost). Lovely models.
