At last they're done!

Many, many months ago I posted some work in progress photos of my 28mm Fallschirmjager. Recently, I brought the project to a close (well, almost...) and I thought I'd share a few photos with you. The figures are by Offensive and they were a joy to paint. As ever, constructive criticism always welcome.

They look amazing!!!!!To better view them you could take some pictures in close up.

They look good!
When it comes to critizism, I will stick to the first picture, cause it shows your work from a close-up. I don´t know the plain green uniform was used by the Fallschirmjäger, but the paint looks a bit "thick" to me. Have you thinned it down or applied some highlight/wash/dirt?
Also, it does not show if you gave the MGs and mortar some steel drybrush. (Edit: on a second gaze, I guess you did!)
That´s all I can mention, as I said, it looks good, and an impressive workload, too. I also like how you have done the bases.

They look great! The bases really turned out nicely.
Some close-ups would help. As Finisterrae said the paint looks a bit thick in places. But all in all a great big bunch of minis. Quantity has a quality of it's own as usual
I always find that having a large amount of minis matching each other in painting style and basing really increases the overall feel of quality.

Wow, nice work on those!
Especially the bases which really makes the miniatures "pop".

Guys, thanks for the kind comments.
Finisterrae, you raise an interesting point about the look of the green uniforms. While I thin out all of the my paints (Vallejo) I never seemed to find a combination of shaddows and highlights for the 'Russian Uniform' green that I was happy with. Perhaps the thickness comes from applying too many layers in order to get it to look right.

Thanks Dave. To make my criticism more constructive, maybe you can give them another drybrush with a slightly higher green and /or a brown wash. Maybe apply some dirt to break up the green sheme?
