Back in 2013 driscoles ran a participation game at tactica convention in hamburg.
It pitted brits vs. frenchies in the penisular war using T&T with small units (2-4 miniatures each).
Driscoles and Lt. Hazel used very smart painted perry 40s...
Deeply impressed I got home and ordered a few victrix french.
...okay after 3 years I had today enough stuff together to do a replay....:)
Björn was so kind to send me all the paperwork and scenario background...thanx for that mate.
So here is the setup, sorry no real AAR.

The starting point of the brits.

The french setup. Their mission was to get the cannon near the church to win.

And a few shot later the two troops close in...

And the brits got finished in closed combat...poor me...losing again....:)

The rules were real fun, even for my oponent, who played T&T for the first time.
Björn made a few modofication to the normal rules, but it was still very streamlined and easy to play...;)
Cheers,
Don

That looks very nice. I love the 54 mm miniatures.
If I had not started collecting 40 mm I could make a full swing to ....
Anyway....at Tactica 2017 I will be with a particapation game Napo Skirmish in 40 mm.
Part II and with a better scenario than in 2013 !

Hi DonVoss, nice looking game and beautiful miniatures. I really like the way the playing area is no bigger than it needs to be for the scenario. I am interested in these rules now.

Very nice!

That looks lovely, I started off only intending to do WW1, now I'm tempted to do Naps and ACW too !!!

Is there a Nap supplement to T&T? Or would Bjorn share with the masses?
Thanks

Okidoki Gentlemen.
I will present a Napoleonic skirmish game at the Hamburger Tactica with modified T+T rules. Miniatures will be the beautiful 40 mm Perries. I already painted most of them but had to order some more :)
It will be a small game with about 20 figures per side. Story goes about a brothel at the Spanish / Portuguese border with treacherous spies, dashing heroes, a beautiful tempting woman and some contraband.
I am not done with the rules yet. What I can say is that unit size is between 4 and 6 models. Heroes and / or leaders are single models and can act as individuals. A turn is about 20 seconds. So its possible for the player to perform two actions. Things you can do in 20 seconds. The activation procedure will be different to the original rules but you can still plot but I am not sure if I will stuck to the order cards. I will edit the morale system. Weapon ranges will be different than the basic rules. So....these are some ideas and I will rattle them and see what comes out.
Thats it for now
Merry Xmas to you !
