Title: Captain America & Bucky
Post by: stone-cold-lead on March 11, 2012, 05:54:49 PM
Rather enjoyed doing these. Went for muted colours for a touch of 'realism' rather than the usual bright reds and blues.

Great looking colours! Just bought the movie today and want the Cap mini - so I'm repeating the question: who made them?

Thanks for the comments everyone. These were a commission and I'm not too sure about manufacturer details, but Hauptgefreiter's link to the other thread is your best bet for info.

I am not a great fan of superheroes, and especially not these, but there something appealing about them, and your painting really established this.

Fantastic paintwork!

I could not see the pics on here for some reason, but caught them on your blog.
Glad that I had to do it that way in the end, as I have now seen your WIP and that really helps give an idea of your approach.

Top drawer!

A little bit of threadomancy as I've just finished another set.

Client asked for the same paint job as I did on the previous set.

Ive got these, but to my shame they are only based so far - I've also magnetized the shields and Cap's arm so I can use either Shield too!

Beautiful Paint Job!
