Meizters Frozen Frostgrave Fumblings
« on: January 11, 2017, 09:32:53 AM »
Hi all!

I've normally been on the Strange Aeons sections, but now I'll venture into Frostgrave as well.

I've decided to make a "frozen" themed warband (My daughter really found that a wise choice of theme) and will be adding some terrain as well as time goes on.

so without further ado... the young elementalists Anna and Elsa with a friendly golem.

Some troopers included as well:

Treasure Markers:

Now my biggest issue is finding a couple of minis to fill out some parts of the warband.

Sven the Reindeer, Kristoff the ice merchant and Olaf the construct.

If any of you have any suggestions to miniatures for those it would be most appreciated.

Welcome to the group, and good start! Love those treasure tokens. Give us some close-ups on the soldiers if you get the chance.

Nice work. I've been itching to get hold of those young elementalists for my own daughters, but the warning glare from my good lady wife has put me off so far!  ;D

Love the theme! I would say the frostgrave Rangifers make the most sense for Sven

Love it!  What models did you use for Anna and Elsa?

Nevermind.  Just found them.  They were not on the Wizards page for some reason.  Nice.

Love it!  Think that's one of the things I like most about Frostgrave; you can really let you imagination run wild and have fun creating your warband.

Thank you for all the kind comments :)

Before getting to more pictures of the soldiers as joe5mc asked for I thought I'd share my storage solution as well.

I've magnetised the bottom of the figures and then cookie tins that a friend of mine found in a grocery store before Christmas.

Then the soldiers in close up :)

My plan is to follow up with some icy terrain next :)

I ended up using Zaini chocolate egg figures for Kristoff & Olaf.

They can be bought separately on Ebay without resorting to buying the chocolate eggs - depends how sweet your tooth is!

Ah that's cool, probably best to just get the figures of ebay, although my tooth probably disagrees with that ;)

The ones i used came from the Galerie brand of chocolate eggs.  And yes, I bought a case of 12 because I have a sweet tooth, and I wanted to make pretty sure I got one of each figure. :)

(Shown with a Eureka Teddy Bear and Copplestone Evil Snowman for scale.)

This is what the packaging looks like:

Have been looking for those minis from the Galerie eggs on ebay, still they are kinda hefty in price and shipping from the US, so just letting the hobby budget get back on its feet from my last KS adventure before getting some  ;)

It's worth pointing out that Zaini also do Disney Fairies.  ;)
