Title: Shamblers in SA
Post by: Sheerluck Holmes on June 13, 2010, 01:35:56 AM
A question was asked in this topic: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=15394.msg183881#msg183881 (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=15394.msg183881#msg183881)

but it was never answered.  Are Shamblers the same type of thing as Dimensional Shamblers in CoC?

I have a couple of these minis and want to know if I can use them as Shamblers.

 Cheers.

I use the RAFM Call of Cthulhu minis myself, and believe Mike has a set on the go as well.  They are more or less the same thing, though the eventual "official" figure will be quite a bit beefier.  Truthfully, use whatever you want though.  If you think it looks like a Shambler, it's a Shambler!

Many thanks jnr - not having to pay the huge exchange rates and postage from RAFM will save a bit of sanity

A little late to the party on this one...I use (as Lidless said) the Murch ones and also have the Heroclix ManThing done up with some extra moss and stuff. Any rotting/mossy/alien/apeish thing that you can find really...we purposefully kept the catagories vague to allow players to have the greatest possible choice when building the lurkers...and 'cause vagueness is scary!!!  ;)

Bad Juju from Wyrds range would be very good as well.

That's friggin' brilliant! I need one of those!

I have a Stormrage Shambler (prepaint thing) I got from a nice guy in Sweden in exchange for some plastic shields and a couple of 80's GW haflings. He probably got most value in Ebay terms, but I got a Shambler  :D (he offered me money on top of the deal, but I dedclined it - am happy to barter)

He comes in the Zoirida boxed set and her and the Slurids make a great Witch and Familiars as well

I picked her specifically since the Slurids would fit in with the other fishy minis I have. Not Deep Ones per se (at least for me) but certainly visually similar.
