Timbor, essentially it looks like it. Wave 1 (whatever that consists of) must be "locked" by the end of February. I'd expect shipping maybe March/April/May. Some of the videos do show huge bags of minis and molds etc.

I expect the backer's pledges shall begin to show up in April.

Why?

Wayland games will carry the game in UK, and in France I think Hasbro is in talks with Gamezone.

If Hasbro wants to protect its HQ IP, they can still take action against GZ. Even if GZ has a trademark in EU, Hasbro could still go after them for trade dress, copyright, and possibly even trademark -- just because you have a claim to IP, doesn't mean the courts will rule otherwise. Hasbro usually goes after a settlement first. Moon Design owns the US Trademark, so, given their behavior during crowdfunding, is more likely to have US customs seize copies of HQ entering the US. GameZone has made little effort to protect its attempts to claim IP protection in the US. I'm guessing that Hasbro hasn't acted yet because they cannot obtain a physical copy to show a judge, and don't care if backers receive their games or not. It's the retail market they would be more interested in.

I can't find the Wayland games announcement anymore. Can you provide a link? I could not find HeroQuest on the Wayland Games website, but HQ25 hasn't been released yet.

Also, I find it odd that HQF said they had a call from Hasbro France to work with GameZone, yet this hasn't been publicized nor written permission demonstrated.

This was announced by gamezone. Not in Wayland web yet.

The GameZone announcement I found (now) says "international distributors", not naming Wayland specifically.
