Title: These Bloody Miniatures...
Post by: Codsticker on September 06, 2022, 12:18:18 AM
I can't recall if I shared my take on Captain Blood's first wave with the LAF crowd as I finished in June and have since started picking my way through the second wave. It would be nice to get through it before the latest tranche is offered. ::)

Anyhoo...

Yes thank you very much, if I am honest though, I had tucked them away and forgot all about them!

thank you guys. Just finished The Squire's Men- another awesome pack of minis.
As long as they got there that’s the main thing  :)
I have a number of terrain projects that get pushed back as I keep getting drawn into painting minis.

Very nice! I especially like that breached wall in the background of the Forlorn Hope w/ their polearms, have you ever shown off wider shots of that piece of terrain?

Just indulged in the Bloody Mini Release 4 group with the ladies and dismounted currassier, looking forward to painting them up.

It is part of table I made for the last Trumpeter's convention in 2019. I think you were there, you may remember it:.

In the end, during the convention game the attackers never did breach the wall; they opted to assault the parapet:

Pretty sure the game I was running was scheduled in exactly the same timeslot, because Murphy, but yes I do remember your ECW siege setup!

Nice work on some lovely figures. The armour looks really good and the face on the bottom photo, left side figures, is excellent.

Figures look great, amazing how having a suitable background can make a figure look so much better.

Lovely figures, especially the blacked armour on the chap with the full-face helm!

I have all of Wave 4 (5? the one with the quartet of armed ladies) to base and paint still, so won't be getting Wave 6 yet, but Bloody are putting out some really nice figures!
