A Work in Progress D&D collection
« on: May 16, 2024, 07:44:32 PM »
Heyhey, right now I'm in the process of painting somebody's Dungeons & Dragons collection of 28mm figures. Starting with some character figures and a red dragon (because a red dragon can not be beat in terms of visual appeal.

The latter picture features a troop of knights from a gaming specific world's knightly order. There's a lot more to come, including ruins, very nice furniture, evil gribblies and more characters.

Hope you like them so far!

Wonderful looking figures! Great attention to detail - especially that shield.  The dragon of course steals the spotlight as they tend to do...

Lovely work, the dragon is of course stunning, but I really like the way those knights are all individuals but you do get the sense they belong to the same Order.
I thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel … but it was just some sod with a torch bringing me more work!

@syrinx0: Cheers. Yeah, I was ordered to file the shield on the knights (where present) flat and freehand their chapter logo on there.

@armchairgeneral: Thank you!

@Dean: Yeah, it's a very diverse looking group, but goes to show what a coherent colour scheme can do.

@Freddy: Thanks very much!

Heyhey, here's some more figures, this time of the furry/scaly (even though I vaguely remember crocodile skin not being scaly, but ...just hard and horny or something like that. :P ) variety:

A werewolf warrior, the wildshape form of one of the characters (who lost an arm, so the crocodile also lacks a front leg), a .....fairy lion which came with one leg missing so I remade it from green stuff, but I won't tell which one it was :P ) and a fantasy dog/fox/fennek creature. Looks very fast and friendly though.

Today I received another parcel with figures for this collection. Those I won't be allowed to show on the internet, because they're secret for now.

By the way, this is the collection owned by the lovely people who run this youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@FoolScholarProductions/videos. If I understood it right they play D&D adventures and then bascially do a re-telling of their games as audioplays. Really impressive productions.
