Nice pieces. The sign is deff a too old west. The removable sign is a good idea, would make it more interchangeable between Mordheim and Strange Aeons too. Perhaps a sign to tie in with one of the Aeons trucks you've just weathered.
Does the lid come off?

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

excellent, some more Mason masonry in the works...

 lol
Thanks, AEG, that gave me a chuckle.

VERY NICE addition...generic, but nice nonetheless. A alternate removable sign to cover the "Livery" would add to its possible uses. That aside, have FUN with the basing.

It is a nice generic building.
Dont worry- The sign is definitely a gonner!

Interchangable signs: Great idea!
The thing is one piece, I am afraid, but a little common sense will make the interior usable.

the walls look quite thick as well so I guess cutting is out of the question - so lift it off walls and all? or split the building and have two ruined ends...

I have already started on it, so it will be pretty much how it is.
I am basically using it as a warehouse/barn/whatever with a fenced yard.

I did consider splitting it but decided that I dont want to make another ruined building, as I have enough for Mordheim.
I also want it to be fairly generic, so intact would be best, I reckon.

Time will tell if I have made the right decision.

Plus there is the added bonus of getting it finished quickly if I dont mess around with it too much!

Why change the sign - isn't this where the good(?) folk of Krappefortt purchase their offal from?  ;)

Think of the amazing pun names you could come up with for the characters associated with an old West style stables in Krappefortt -

Wild Bill Hiccup - the alcoholic stable owner

The Bone Ranger - sorry that's a bad one  ::)

McFlintlock - the fastest arquebusier in the Old World

Whya Twerp - the foul mouthed old timer with no time for anyone

I could go on but thankfully I won't  :D

And you!
 ;)

Very funny, guys.
That made me smile, and chuckle some too!

I may have to spend some time coming up with various removable signs to cover all those possibilities.

Thanks, aeg!
I couldnt resist it, but I did have to go out for a while.... ::)
Honestly.
 :D

Yes please share what you used for foliage.

It is standard Underbrush clump foilage, stuck on to the wall with wood glue.
When it has dried I pour a little cheap super glue on it to harden it and then a quick couple of layers of drybrushing to vary the colour.

Anyway, here are the rest of the pictures:

A simple job of 'tarting up' an already nice building.

I hope that you like it...

VERY NICE! The basing, improvements to the fence, foliage, et al really bring the piece to a higher level. GREAT WORK!

Thanks, DeafNala!
I feel that it works pretty well.

Someone asked me today if the building worked well with Mordheim figure, so here are a few pics with some members of my Marienburg warband, the Posenhosen Trading Company:

I think it works ok, especially considering that they are on raised slotta bases.

Works well indeed and I like your solution for the sign  8)

There's something about 'building bases' that really appeals  :)
