Were YOU mad agreeing to go to Isla Incognita? Find Out.
« on: December 23, 2014, 10:57:01 PM »
Today!

Where will you encounter, luxuriant tropical vegetation, indigenous natives fiercely opposed to you, animals whose territoriality has been violated by your footsteps and where benign natural elements have even been aroused in opposition to you?

Where under a blazing equatorial sun will you soon begin to question whether you have what it will take to achieve your goal or if you can survive to return home sane and/or whole? What madness brought you here anyway?

You don't know your location within thousands of miles. Even more certain is it that your wives, families, sweethearts and friends; almost no one knows where you are. That was the bargain you made. All you comprehend is that it is January 1938 as you walk upon a mysterious island the expedition leader named Isla Incognita. It is somewhere in the South Pacific --- here:

Oh. One more thing. There is no way out until the mission succeeds or fails. You  hope for the former with unbelievable rewards. However, several of your comrades now comprehend the latter.

Briefly captioned photos explain what you are allowed to know in the link above. A word of caution though. As you witness night scenes, you may not want to dim or turn off the lights even though I suggested it.

See you soon? Or will you ignore the opportunity and walk away as if nothing ever happened? You'll know. So will your mates. So will I.

Respectfully,
Bill P.

Gorgeous!

I really like the Germans the way you've painted them. And the whole story is awesome.  ;D

Fantastic! It reminds me of the "Turu the Terrible"; episode on Jonny Quest. Great stuff.

Poiter 50, General, Legion 1963, Phil Robinson, Dr. The Viking, und auch mein freund Juergen!, Your remarks and appreciation about the story are indeed gratifying. Thank you very much. I'm very glad you were entertained.

Simply brilliant. Great scenery and miniatures and I loved the night shots. The volcano is a great idea, loved it!  :-*
