During my short correspondence with Nic he did mention "command and personalities to come" but also "As with all projects I don’t have an eta, as we are in the hands of the sculptor 😊  ".

I've sculpted a bunch more of these figures now..so shaping up to be quite a nice Granbretan army :-)

Just out of interest, what are people looking for in the range? We want to cover the Flamingos and Ornithopters for sure.

Being a mass battle kind a guy and unabashed about asking for more, my wants would be:

foot, mounted, command (fantastic creatures/machines a bonus) in two opposing forces.

Of course, I have no idea of the feasibility of this just replying to the invitation.

Are there any beasts or really really specific things you recall that could be interesting as models?
For example, In the graphic novel hawkmoon himself has a pistol, I wonder if that is widespread or just his?

I would say most Granbrettans have a closed helm, these are only a small selection of the models made.

There are some thoughts that influenced the design choice though

1) Existing Eureka Hawkmoon range in 28mm (Mick Darpa & Alan Marsh sculpts) all have open helmets showing their face.
2) We made the helmets similar to the bascinet, with the animal design being the visor, so it can shift up or down. Whilst the graphic novel depiction was awesome in print, it just looked abit Larpy / Sports Maskot without the context of it being a helmet. I think across the range it'll only be 1/4 of the models with faces revealed.
3) For miniatures, another way to get more characterization in the model. I know you could argue that they should be faceless badguys, and you can absolutely skip the models with face revealed for this effect.

I hope the range can still appeal despite this heresy! haha

TBH, the previous sculpts of the Granbrettans put me a bit off because they had the open helm. I still love the original sculpts Eureka put out about 8 years ago. I have heaps of these.

I guess if I ask Nic nicely he might only send me the closed helm chaps…

Warcats wounds incredibly awesome. I'm not sure I remember them from the books.. are there any good references for me to think about?
