Title: Trouble at Area 51, a Pulp Alley AAR
Post by: Michi on May 29, 2014, 10:53:27 AM
The year is 1950, the place is somewhere in the Nevada desert near some small town called Rachel. There is a cosy diner by the roadside of a branch road that leads from highway 375 to a remote military installation by the name of ...

AREA 51

Cracking report and set up, I really enjoyed reading it. I also loved the line "ray gunned a little bit", that so needs to be in a movie!

It was raunchy, it was spicy....it was,..it was, well it was classic 50's.

I roared like a lion when I read "They call on Mister Candy the childish dandy and Mister Tucker the redneck trucker to catch up."

Very funny and poetic.  ;)

However he does not yet reveal the secret recipe of the special homemade barbecue sauce...

What is the secret of the sauce?

.....but seriously, what a fantastic game, superb scenery and beautifully painted miniatures. I love the way you've painted the Venusians. How do you do that 'stocking' effect?

Knowing Michi I wouldn't be surprised if he hand makes a pair for each more, that's how great his quest for detail is!

If you google ' Area 51 sign' you get quite a selection, then you save to pics and edit as needed.  ;) Here's one for starters.  ;)

Or did you mean pull off a real one, from the actual fence that surrounds the actual base?  :o  ...... lol
