A while ago (see page 131) I found a box with Resin & Scratch built hovels & tents.
They were in dire need of repair, repaint & rebasing. Those I did, & got back to
mining the Lead (& other materials) Mountain.

Just caught up on everything on the thread. There's some lovely stuff. I particularly like the wester mining/shanty towns.

Samuel
I have nothing important to say so just keep on scrolling.

More out of (just one of the) box of interesting bits.

The Spheres were a defunct string of garden lights.
Not only not working, but rusty too. Nice wife said,
'I suppose you want these?'

The Barrels came out of a skip. We were on holiday near
a working Mill. There were hundreds of these!!!!
I was heart broken to only take 24 (all I could fit in my pockets
& the dog I was walking wanted to...walk). The blue lids came from
one of my 'Interesting, but small bits' boxes.

Now added to my scenery stock. :D

Backing Flatpack on his journey to (Victorian) Mars.
Two One Man Tripods (????)
Converted to 28mm from some 15mm ones picked up at Trade at Table (Hammerhead)
Now part of my fledgling French force awaiting FFOL Victorian Sci-Fi.

Thanks Chaps.  :D

Now if I could just find the figures that would do for French Infantry on Mars.
They ARE in the Lead Mountain, somewhere!

Picked up a sprue at WMMMS the other week, just £2
Rather than just add them to a box (normal procedure for me)
I assembled & painted them.
Will do for Galactic Heroes as another team.

Allowed? Yes, normal (for me)? Absolutely not.
As a wise friend (John Cunningham)  once told me,
'They(unpainted figures) need several coats of looking at, before you start painting'  lol

Here is something else quickly prepped up, just to get them off the work-bench.
They were the heavy bases of artificial flowers (Flowers long gone to useful scenery).
The bases are now some kind of Alien Ant Hill.

Picked up this resin building at Hammerhead (Trade at Table).
It had no chimneys & some minor damage.
Now repaired, repainted & ready to take to the table.
