Too small for my liking though.......already ordered another twenty dixon........ lol

If I need them....I can salvage ones from the rubbish bases I already made.   Twenty five should do it.    Going to paint this first batch......and get it started.    Going to be heavy model though!  ;)

Yip, going to be heavy but 25 longhorns do have the mass advantage anyways against the common man :D

That's going to look brilliant... but are the streets of VC wide enough for that stampede?

The way we set it up each time....yup.   The town is fluid...but only just! ;)

Saying that, we have multiple wagons and stage coaches as well as a plethora of citizens.....streets are damned crowdy....and dangerous .....just the way we like them!

Still waiting for small tools to arrive, but now time to decide the level of clutter....

I like this scattered look....spades to stand in the open barrel...stuff to hang from hooks...

So, to update my to do list.....

1)  I have a grand manner teepee that will be based and a few bear skins modelled for an Indian trader.   Indian will be trussed up though and tied to a post .....our humour...just go with the concept!

2)  I want a Hardware store "Four Candles".......I may do this first as it's an easy build.   Inspired by the latest offering from 4Ground, it will be a corner shop.   The main reason for this is a little clutter on the walk way.   I have various barrels, tools and a water wagon that can be arranged "for sale" as features to cower behind. UNDERWAY

3)  I want a "Dutch barn" style livery to replace or compliment the livery I have.  Key feature being an open hay storage area on one side and an ability to have figures pass through the ground level....possibly.

4)  the town needs a livestock auction house and more corral  fencing.

5)  been toying with an open stage with side kiosks for a travelling freak show / Wild Bill type travelling show.

6). Cattle drive / stampede - UNDERWAY

7). Adobe church

8). I need benches and rocking chairs etc to put outside doors etc...

I like that 'clutter' set-up.
Plenty of it looks far better, I reckon.

I wish I had more for mine, but I can always add to it as I go.

And I will be stealing the wagon wheel idea.
Oh, Yes!
 ;)

Feel free hombre....that's why we do what we do!

Whenever I. At shows etc...I pick up piles if clutter like this.  I'm collecting until I have tonnes for my pirate dock!   The resin coloured bits are from Grand Manner.

I'm waiting on some miniature lanterns and tools to hang on the nails and stand in the open barrels plus I will be adding a sign and some posters....but I'm really chuffed with it.

Looks ace, a smashing finish. I agree that the clutter looks perfect. I thought it was a little too much to begin with tbh, but you have proved me wrong. Perhaps the vendor needs to build a 2nd floor if he is having trouble storing all his goods inside out of the elements ;)

Cheers
Matt

Thanks fellas, really pleased you like it!

So, I reckon this guy will be the proprietor .....especially with leather apron.

Next batch of steers arrived finally (I have another dozen coming) so I need to get them flashed.

I mounted the back few ready to paint

As you can see, I made the detachable steers a double mount.
