I really am loving the new Citadel Washes right now. I'm converted. In fact I recommend them!

Hi Billfred, could you please post bigger pictures? I've got no intention of putting my head against the screen to make out detail  ;)

What I can see looks nice though
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Indeed, the links in the piccies don't work, just post bigger pics.

Looks nice from a distance though ;)

He'd linked to the thumbnails. If you remove the th_ before the file name the link works.

Agreed. I have become a devotee of Devlan Mud. When I am not trying to blend colors on a figure by hand, DM has replaced magic dip (Minwax Tudor Satin 360) in my toolbox.

And the others I have used (Gryphon Sepia, Badab Black) are pretty darn good too.

Looking good.  :) Is this the one that's from the Black Reach box? I think I still have one, but was put off by all the chunky details - you may have convinced me to give it a try after all.

armour looks ok... the fabrics are a bit odd looking though... I know there is the whole shade white with blue thing, but the contrast there is white or blue, as opposed to shades of... if you're using the washes alot for the shading, try a different colour rather than the blue wash... gryphonne sepia maybe

I used Blue on the cloak to go with the Blue armour, I should have added maybe a Space Wolves Grey in there to blend it a bit more...

They are indeed Thumbnails. You should be able to click the pictures to bring up a bigger view...
