Title: Chicago Skirmish Wargames painting and playing Bushido
Post by: timlillig on 22 April 2017, 10:22:28 PM
My club has been doing a fair bit of painting and playing Bushido recently.  Here are some of the recent blog posts:

We painted some Prefecture of Ryu (https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/2017/01/03/first-finished-minis-of-2017-bushido-prefecture-of-ryu/) minis
(https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/P1034027-570x428.jpg)
and ninja (https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/2017/04/22/tutorial-speed-painting-ninja-from-rise-of-the-kagebushido/)
Also made some willow trees (https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/2017/04/11/tutorial-willow-trees/)
and a board (https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/2017/04/17/tutorial-building-a-bushido-board/)

We've played a couple of games so far, Ito vs. Ryu (https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/2017/03/31/aar-csws-first-game-of-bushido/) and Ryu vs. Ro-Kan (https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/2017/04/08/aar-bushido-at-greenfire-games/)

So far, the games are going ok. It is a little complicated in places and we are still getting used to some rules and figuring out special abilities and how they are best used.

The one in the lady with a fan in the ito clan is called Ayako Ito but there are several other figures with fans in the Bushido line.

Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. I can't seem to find any retailers or players in the Columbus, OH area interested in Bushido.
