Oh man, that was a bit of rough gaming luck for the explorer player. That kind of thing is always hilarious (when it happens to someone else). Thanks, that was a fun read. I am becoming increasingly tempted to pick up these rules with every report that appears here. I do love devouring new rule sets, even if most of the time I never actually play them.

Tehekai and I played this scenario last week and my Zanzibaris lost big time of his explorers. Even the lion attacking his askaris could not change that. Tomorrow I will give it another try when we play "The Jewel of Africa" scenario. It's indeed a fun game.
