Post by: Bergil on 04 May 2017, 09:15:35 AM
These guys were my first 15mm army. Love 'em.

They've taken a bit of a beating during several moves even with a custom made box but hey ho.

Some nice conversions in there - the painting is also well suited.

Great collection and nicely painted! What do you use them for? 40k?

Very cool!

Which minis are those? I recognize the fliers, are those John Threadway? Some armoured cars look like Battlefront conversions.

Very nice.  That's the second use of the Morris Quad in a sci-fi context that I've seen recently, it's a good idea I might have to pilfer.

Thank you guys/

Anything really, they can be impy guard, Germans or 'New Haringay Defence forces....'  :)

Very cool!

The Germans were from Eureka Miniatures at one point, not sure where you might get them now. The fliers are 1/100 hueys from Japan of all places. Dirt cheap and coverted with wings and other gubbins. And the cars are from Flames of War? That ww2 15mm game.

Very nice.  That's the second use of the Morris Quad in a sci-fi context that I've seen recently, it's a good idea I might have to pilfer.

Just remember to buy a bag of cheap metal guns at a show to stick on top.  ;)

The Sci-Fi Germans are still available from Eureka Miniatures:

Eureka Miniatures USA:

Fighting 15s:

And the quad tractor is available from Battlefront (code BR277), as Bergil said from their WWII game Flames of War.

Finally, Japan is great for cheap plastic kits. If you can't get there and visit a store like Yodobashi or Joshin, then HobbyLink Japan (HLJ) is pretty good too:
