Title: Large 28mm Spanish Army 1670-1697 (lots of pics!)

Hello ! Here you have my collection of The Spanish tercios of the Dutch war and League of Augsburg war  roughly from 1670' to 1697...  These tercios are not as powerfull as their earlier comrades, but for wargames purposes are very interesting because uniforms were widely introduced in that period. They can fight along English, Dutch, German,Imperial etc... against the Sun King in all the wars from 1660 to 1700.
The miniatures are Front Rank, Northstar 1672 and some wargames factory' (now Warlord) dissapointing plastics IMHO.
I play with Pike & Shotte rules.

The flags are real or conjectural , most from the excellent book "The Spanish Armies of the League of Augsburg War". The army is far from finished, I will add more cavalry and infantry. Hope you like it !

Thanks ;) the infantry is bases 40mm x 40mm 4 figures, the cavalry 50mm x 50mm 2 figures. And the dragoons and skirmishers are based individually but with its movement trays.

One does not know what to admire first: The accurately depicted uniforms, top notch painting, fine sculpts, or the whole set - a real kaleidoscope!

Very nice! :o I truly love this period. Most people seem to prefer early 18th century with tricorns, but this... has a taste of something else...
