Suetonius,

one question.
The polar bear insigna on the sleeves is printed on paper, than cut and glued?
I'm asking because it seems to me to spot the white "edge" of the sheet.
Maybe I'm wrong...

Indeed. They liberated (in part) my country in '45 and specifically the city of Utrecht if i remember correctly). ;-)

I think your figures are marvelous. The 49th has always been my favourite division, my 1/48 Chlitern figures are representing that unit and I also always planned to do them for my Norway project too when I get that started.
Here is a 20mm diorama I did years ago. It was pretty terrible. The Polar Bear insignia is hand painted.

I shared your reservations regarding plastics but my friend and figure painter has done a splendid job wit my Warlord Games Panzergrenadiers!
