A few bits and pieces reaching completion together. These chaps of 1/8 Hampshire Regiment (Isle of Wight Rifles) (TF) alongside the Schutztruppen as they share a similar basic uniform paint mix. Figures from Footsore Miniatures and Woodbine Designs all with Woodbine Smoke Hood heads as Phosgene arrived in theatre and the Terriers were drilled in the use of this form of gas protection. Painted up in a mix of khaki serge and khaki drill to add some variety. Colour balance of the last image is a bit off due to the change in angle. My fault.

Oh wow, just smashing. You just don't stop, do you?
Those hoods are super-creepy. You could make good use of them in a post-Apocalyptic setting I reckon, especially as they come as sprues of heads.

Very nice Mark...
And yes they do look sinister....
I would have to fight the temptation to put a smiley on them...
All the best. Aly

There will now follow a interlude. Had to get these out of my system before the stupidity of the Summer Term kicks in. I don't lift a brush for most of June.
I also squeezed out another Holt and built a big tracked trailer for it to pull as well. Here it is....

That'll be it for a while....

Coming on in fine style :-* :-*

Both look great. Isle of Wight rifles look sinister as others have mentioned- particularly the one with the fake boobs! ;)
