I've painted a couple of test models for the participation game James Morris and I will be putting on at Partizan.
They're the 54mm Armies in Plastic models.
Simple basecoat, wash,highlight jobs.

Can't decide which of the two I like better (although the base colours are the same, the washes are different)
A few more pictures on the blog

I cant say.
What about another highlight ?

I like the bottom one more, as the wash is heavier.

Nice job!! Painting 54mm is not as easy as one might think, is it? It's assumed by some folk that, as everything is much bigger, it's easier, but I don't find that to be the case. I've just started a project in the same scale, using a 'dip and highlight' technique and it's fun, but I am finding that I need 2 highlights on pretty much everything to get the effect I want.
Anyway, keep up the good work. Good to see the 'big toys' getting a look in...

I like the second one the best.
Both look excellent.
