Very nice and great to see some USCT!
-
Thanks :) not sure if im gonna make them the 54th or another regiment yet, they are perry plastic union troops with the metal acw 26 heads, requires a bit of work removing the original heads but its worth it.
-
Very neat and good color. Please tell me why there are only 4 on the stand.
-
im a bit new to the american civil war wargaming stuff, how many should there be?
-
Well that all depends on what basing system your chosen rules use, really.
I really like them. Looking forward to seeing more.
-
Thanks guys, the models kind of fit better 4 a base with charging poses rather then 6, and i prob wont play a game with em, i'm more a collector to be honest, i wish the instructions on perrys kits were a little better though concerning the bases.
The foundry paints i used are really convenient too, turned out alright seeing as i haven't painted any models before these in a year about.

"Go get 'em the 54th!"

They look great, I have painted 2 regiments and yours are way better. I too have based 4 to a stand, it allows me to create more formations, use them for multiple rule sets. The blue uniform has been a killer for me, yours are spot on :-*
-
The Uniform was easy enough really, foundry union blue shade, then union blue, then union blue, then union blue light, same for the flesh and trousers but with there respective sets(African flesh and union trouser blue), the webbing was Vallejo black then dark grey highlight and the stock was vallejo chocolate brown then beige brown, the beige bits were vallejo beige with a brown wash.

I have 6, but ... I collect the coolelection for myself. I do not play wargame because I do not have anyone to play with.

Very nice!

Nice painting. And nice big photo so we can see what's going on. :)

I assume Suede, you are using a 40mm base, I would be surprised if you could fit more than four figures without it looking too cramped. 40mm is a good size as you will find it can fit the major rules systems like Blackpowder or Pickett's Charge.

Lovely work you do.

Nice work! ;)
