Joe..those patterns on on the hems of the tunics! Wow!! :-*
Cap'n, another spectacular entry! I love the way everything is so smoothly shaded. Incredible.

Thanks Mike. I agree - wonderful freehand work on the clothing and shields, Joe.
I feel bad now, seeming to be out ahead despite using decals - although these gorgeous LBM designs were part of the reason I decided to collect this army in the first place!
I also think there's just a lot of love out there for Footsore miniatures, whereas the Viking girls are new to me and perhaps others?

I voted for the Maidens, to be honest. Where are they from?

Excellent show Captain Blood! Very fine entry.
Thanks all for the positive feedback.
The figures are from Bad Squiddo Games, they do realistic female figures, which is pretty awesome:

Oh, Richard, another scene from North Africa?? I think you're interpretation of the germanic ideas in the german headquarter in Berlin... ;) lol
-
Oh Dirk, I am pleased to have progressed two such wildly different projects through this LPL - and no, there is no conceivable connection between WW2 North Africa, and 5th Century Britannia ;)
(Someone will now come up with something lol)
