There should be a rule against puns as bad as that. lol
-
Terrible isn't it lol
The two teams on the other hand, are both brilliant.
I especially like Nord's beastie with its Frazetta-esque rider, but the whole lot are really wonderful.
But then we have another of Mike's wonderful settings and examples of storytelling in miniature form...
Another pair I like very much for different reasons 8)

Don't get it. Is it only for you englisch people? 8)

I'm sure you meant Curt's beastie, Richard ...
Mikedemana, are you using illustrations or photos around your pillars and temples? Very impressive effect! :o

You're right - I did! ::)
Nord. Curt. Four letter words see... Easy mistake to make. Especially as they are both brilliant painters. (Sorry lads :()

Two brilliant entries! Very difficult to choose.

Khmer = Come here.
Made worse by the fact that it is a real struggle to think of a single accent or dialect of the English language that pronounces the phrase come 'ere in a way that would sound like "Khmer." :)
Scousers, maybe. Or possibly just Ringo Starr.

Frankly, I'm quite happy to be confused with Nord. High praise indeed. :)
@Mike: Lovely work, I particularly like the photographer.
-
Had to flip a coin, always love mike's settings and minis, but wow the minis for t
he barsoom are are great. Sorry Mike.
-
Two great entries
Love the tones and finish on the Barsoom entry - missed the head of the stead at first and thought the creature was based on a giant flea.
Mike love your setting and painting as well - who does the photographer and bloke with case models?
As before really like both
-
Mike, excellent work on these. The story that it tells is great, and the pun is just awesome! Yes, I like puns!
Curt, nice stuff as well. I really like the monster.
Thanks

Thanks, everyone! Yes, these temples were an experiment. I found images of Angkor Wat and resized them in Photoshop to give the appearance of a row of carvings. Then pasted them onto the walls and columns. I like my 3D ones better, but it was worth a try.
I honestly don't know who makes the reporter. So much of my Pulp stuff is from a wide variety of sources. Sorry...!
