Hiya all,
This is just a bit of an enquiry, so dont necessarily expect any painted Minis for a while! I'm thinking of painting up a wee skirmish game of human hunters (likely a mix of Northumbrian Tin Soldier and Otherworld) and small, farie folks sort of like smurfs. The caveat is, I'd like them to be pretty small (10-20mm high in 28mm scale)
So, what are my options? There's the actual Northumbrian Tin Soldier range, there's the wee cave imps from CP Models, there's Ral Partha's demonworld Goblins... any other thoughts?

Ooh thank you, that's maybe a good shout actually... I wish they had a few civilians in that range too.

The GW Chaos Familiars may work well too....

Thanks, that's another good one.
I've just realised I have some of the rap partha 15mm goblins and they look ok against 28's so they may be a go-er. They do look 'bad' though, which I don't really want (the human hunters being the baddies in my mind).

I got me myself some Demonworld "Barbarians" from RP Europe to use them as Pratchetts "Wee Free Men".

That's actually such a good idea - they must be close to 1:1 for those purposes!

Would say so ;)
I use them along 35mm minis, but am tempted to use them with 54mm.

Was looking through the Stonehaven site and remembered this post. In particular, I reccomend checking out the Gnome and Everything Else sections.
